Early-game pets in +1 Strength Per Click bridge the gap between bare clicking and serious Strength output. Your first hours should focus on upgrading from the free Starter Egg (x1.1–x2 range) to the Basic Strength Egg (x4–x6 range) as fast as possible. This guide covers the best early pets and when to pursue each.
Starter Egg Pets (Free)
Your first hatch from the Starter Egg is free. Possible outcomes: Starter Cat (x2, B tier), Tiny Mouse (x1.5, C tier), or Weak Hamster (x1.1, D tier). Starter Cat is the best outcome and a solid temporary pet. Equip it immediately and start saving 500 Wins for the Basic Strength Egg — do not re-hatch the Starter Egg.
Basic Strength Egg — Your First Priority
The Basic Strength Egg costs 500 Wins and can hatch Training Pup (x4 Strength, rare) or Iron Bulldog (x6 Strength, epic). Either is a massive upgrade from starter pets. Training Pup is the realistic target; Iron Bulldog is a lucky bonus. This egg should be your first Wins purchase after breaking a few World 1 walls.
Power Egg — World 2 Target
Once you reach World 2 (Power Zone), save 5,000 Wins for the Power Egg. It hatches Iron Bulldog (x6) or the legendary Power Gorilla (x10). Getting Power Gorilla this early sets you up for smooth World 3 progression. Even a guaranteed Iron Bulldog at x6 is excellent for World 2 wall breaking.
Early pet tip: Every Wins coin spent on a higher-tier egg is worth more than multiple hatches at a lower tier. Save for the next egg tier rather than re-hatching the same egg hoping for luck.
The early pet progression path is: Starter Cat (free) → Training Pup or Iron Bulldog (500 Wins) → Iron Bulldog or Power Gorilla (5,000 Wins). This path takes you from x2 to x6–x10, which is a 3–5x output increase. Combined with training zones, you will reach World 3 requirements much faster. See the Hatching Guide for exact costs.
